Company History

J&A (International) Limited was formed in the late 1970's by partners involved in the garment retail and uniform industries. Established to provide a range of screen-printed badges manufactured using technology developed in the US, J&A was the first company in the UK to specialise in this field and have since continuously maintained the position of market leader. 

 

From the original use of somewhat robust, simple heatseal equipment, the company's expansion has led to the continual development of new and improved products and innovations. Nowadays the range has greatly expanded to include a myriad of transfers, flame retardant products, textile marking systems and fashion decorative products. Heatseal application machines, textile repair methods and barcode labels have all also been developed by J&A International, resulting in an organisation with the ability to cater for all types of commerce and industry. 

 

Based in Lincolnshire, J&A International uses the latest technological advances to ensure the high quality of its products and the level of service provided to both customers and clients. The company is committed to an ongoing investment programme, ensuring the latest developments in Computer Aided Design, Manufacturing Control and Screen Printing are implemented.

J&A International remains privately owned and is dedicated to the provision of staff development programmes and company-wide organisation enhancement. Having been awarded BS EN ISO 9001. 

 

J&A International is dedicated to protecting the environment, and has recently been awarded the coveted ISO14001 standard for environmental excellence.
